Using DTF printing process to process the hat, there are mainly the following steps:

1. Prepare materials and equipment:

Materials: Hat (cotton or polyester fiber blend material is good), DTF film, TPU powder, DTF Ink, high temperature tape.

Equipment: Digital printer (supports DTF printing function, preferably using inkjet printer with high printing resolution), powder duster (for evenly spreading TPU powder), dryer, Cap Heat press machine.

2. Design pattern:

Use graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW to design the pattern according to the size and shape of the hat. Make sure the size of the pattern fits the printed area of the hat and that the color mode is set to CMYK (for color printing).

After the design is complete, save the pattern to a file format suitable for the printer, such as PDF, JPEG, or TIFF.

3 Print pattern:

4. Dusting and shaking:

Place the film with the printed pattern on the duster and evenly sprinkle the TPU powder. The role of the TPU powder is to act as an adhesive during the thermal transfer process, so that the pattern can be firmly attached to the hat.

After dusting, gently shake the film to drop excess powder and ensure an even distribution of powder on the pattern.

5. Dry:

Put the dusted film into the dryer and set the appropriate temperature and time for drying. The purpose of drying is to remove the moisture in the powder, so that it can better play a bonding role. The general drying temperature is about 50-60 ° C, and the drying time is 5-10 minutes, and the specific time and temperature can be adjusted according to the type of powder and the performance of the equipment.

6. Transfer to hat:

Place the dried film on the hat, pattern face down, aligned with the position to be printed. Use heat-resistant tape to secure the film to the hat to prevent movement during hot pressing.

Place the hat on the press plate of the Heat press and set the appropriate temperature, pressure and time. Generally speaking, the hot pressing temperature is about 150-160 ° C, the pressure is moderate, and the hot pressing time is 15-30 seconds. Hats and films of different materials may require different hot pressing parameters, which need to be adjusted according to the actual situation.

7. Cooling and inspection:

After the transfer is complete, remove the hat and allow it to cool naturally at room temperature. Do not touch or move the pattern on the hat during the cooling process, so as not to affect the quality of the pattern.

After cooling, check whether the pattern on the hat is complete and clear, whether the color is bright, and whether the combination of the pattern and the hat is firm. If there is a problem, you can re-hot press or replace the hat and film to re-operate.
